I am a nerd. I am random. I will insert random words into my day to day vocabulary because it is interesting. I will tend to say shiny instead of cool. I enjoy reading about things I could never dream of. I will read a book because of the pretty prose the author uses even it the book makes no sense. I can survive for a day or two on coffee and massive amounts of homework(homework == brainfood). I am on my laptop far too often for my own sanity. Things that I own tend to become projects (embroidery on my bag, stencils on laptop etc). I believe that kohlrabi is the shining prince of the vegetable kingdom. Webcomics are shiny and full of funny. I often talk about doing horrible things to babies without actually meaning it. Every night I go comatose for a few hours, hallucinate vividly, and then maybe suffer amnesia about the whole experience. I HATE matrices and vectors and hope they die. I still find it hard to believe that e^(i*Pi) = -1. Ducks are fascinating. I love my family. I could not be sane without my friends. I am relatively shy around new people. I never really did the whole dating thing, so it still confuses me. I know the coarse salt that you have to grind yourself is the same as the stuff in the big tubs but it tastes so much better. I have crocheted a squid, scarf, roman surface, hat, klein bottle, and several hyperbolic planes. I have held molten bronze.
As you can tell I am not normal, nor do I want to be normal. Being weird is so much more fun. I do have good social sense, so I know not to be too weird in public and make other feel awkward. I try to live my life with a certain degree of dignity and tend to be with people who take pride in their actions. Learning and being able explore new ideas is essential to my life.
